1. Introduction
This privacy policy explains how Adrionis Trading Sh.p.k. ("Adrionis", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through adrionis.com. It is written to comply with Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and reflects our practices as of the date above.
Adrionis is a B2B commodity trader. The personal data we process is almost exclusively business-contact information of people acting in a professional capacity on behalf of companies that buy or supply fertilizer and petroleum products. We do not sell products or services to consumers.
2. Who is responsible for your data

EU representative (GDPR Article 27)
Because Adrionis is established in Albania (outside the EU/EEA) and offers services to buyers in the European Union, we are required under Article 27 of the GDPR to designate a representative established in the Union. This representative acts as a point of contact for you and for EU supervisory authorities.
3. What we collect
adrionis.com does not host a contact form. We only receive personal data when you choose to email or phone us directly, plus a minimal amount of technical data logged by our hosting and CDN providers to deliver the website.
Email and phone correspondence
If you email us (for example at quotes@adrionis.com) or reach us on WhatsApp, Telegram, or our Bishkek line, the message, your sender identifiers, and any information you include become part of our commercial records for the duration of the relationship.
Technical data
Our hosting and CDN providers log limited technical information (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for profiling or marketing, and we do not pass it on to any recipient other than the providers listed in Section 5.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (health, political opinions, biometrics, etc.). Please do not include such data in messages sent to us — it is not needed to respond to a commercial enquiry.
4. Why we collect it and on what legal basis
Each piece of data we hold is tied to a specific purpose and a specific legal basis under Article 6 GDPR. The table below lists both.
Responding to your quote request
To read your message, understand what you are asking for, and send back a proposal, pricing, or a follow-up question.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) — steps prior to entering into a contract at your request
Managing the commercial relationship
Once a contract is in place, to negotiate terms, coordinate shipment documents (B/L, CoA, SDS), issue invoices, and handle payments.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract
Keeping records for tax and accounting
To meet our statutory obligations to retain commercial correspondence, invoices, and shipping records for the periods required by Albanian and (where applicable) EU tax and customs law.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) — compliance with a legal obligation
Protecting the website and our infrastructure
To keep the site available, defend against abuse, and investigate security incidents using technical logs.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in operating a secure service
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. A small number of specialist providers process data on our behalf to operate the website, all under written data-processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc.Hosting for the adrionis.com website. Retains short-lived request logs for performance and abuse prevention. · Servers in the EU region; parent company in the United States
- Cloudflare, Inc.DNS resolution, CDN caching, and DDoS protection at the network edge. · Global edge network; parent company in the United States
Email you send to us is delivered directly to our corporate mailbox — no third-party form service or marketing platform is involved. The 'Stay informed' subscribe button in the footer opens your local email client addressed to quotes@adrionis.com; no form data is transmitted through the website. An address is added to the newsletter list only after you actually send that email, and we confirm each new subscription by reply — you may decline there, and you may unsubscribe at any time by replying to any message we send. Beyond the website providers listed above, we disclose data only when required by law (for example, in response to a lawful request from a tax authority or a court) or when necessary to defend our legal rights. Any future addition to this list will be reflected here before the new provider goes live.
6. International data transfers
Because our hosting and CDN providers have global infrastructure and parent companies in the United States, some personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs, 2021/914) and on the data-processing terms published by each provider to ensure an adequate level of protection.
For clients or visitors located in the European Union, these safeguards mean your data continues to be protected by GDPR-equivalent standards even when it leaves the EU.
7. How long we keep data
Quote requests that do not result in a contract are kept for no more than 12 months from the last interaction, after which they are deleted. This window allows us to reconnect if a buyer returns later in the season without holding stale data indefinitely.
Once a commercial relationship is formed, records tied to that relationship (contracts, invoices, shipping documents, correspondence) are kept for as long as the contract is active and for the retention periods required by Albanian tax and commercial law thereafter — typically up to ten years. Technical server logs are held by our hosting and CDN providers only for the short period they require for security and diagnostics (typically a few days to a few weeks); Adrionis does not retain independent copies.
8. Your rights
The GDPR gives you a set of rights you can exercise at any time and free of charge. In summary:
Access
Ask us to confirm whether we hold data about you and receive a copy of it.
Rectification
Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Erasure
Ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Restriction
Ask us to pause processing while a dispute over accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.
Portability
Receive the data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interest and ask us to stop.
To exercise any of these rights, email quotes@adrionis.com with a short description of your request. We will respond within one month of receiving it, as required by GDPR Article 12(3). We may ask for reasonable proof of identity to avoid disclosing your data to someone else.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement took place. A list of national authorities is maintained by the European Data Protection Board (edpb.europa.eu).
10. Updates to this notice
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our services, providers, or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page always shows when the current version was published. Material changes will be highlighted in a short summary at the top of the page for at least 30 days after the update.
